Before the measure
These are the questions that come up on Sunshine Coast visits. If your opening is unusual, put it in the measure form and we will answer against that room.
Do you measure on site?
Yes. We record width, drop, reveals, handles and stacking before anything is made.
Can you match existing fittings?
Often. Bring a photo or a sample. We will say if a match is honest or if a new system will sit cleaner.
Do you motorise existing blinds?
Some systems can take a motor later. Many cannot. We check the tube, the brackets and the power path first.
How long from measure to install?
Lead time depends on cloth and whether tracks or shutters are made to order. We give a date at specification, not a guess on the first call.
Do you work in homes and workplaces?
Both. The same measuring standard applies. Workplaces often add motors and glare cloths for screens.
What should I prepare for the visit?
Clear the window, note which rooms matter first, and keep any plans or fabric samples to hand.
Which Sunshine Coast areas do you cover?
We measure and install across the Sunshine Coast and nearby areas. If you are unsure, send the suburb with the measure request.
Do I need to choose fabric before the visit?
No. Samples come to the house. If you already have a cloth in mind, keep a swatch handy so we can check drop, stack and light.
Can curtains and blinds sit on the same window?
Yes. A roller or Roman for privacy, then a curtain for softness, is a common Sunshine Coast specification.
Are motors only for new homes?
No. New builds are easier for cable paths, but many existing rollers and curtain tracks can take a motor after we check the brackets.
Do you install the same day as the measure?
No. Measure first, then cloth and hardware are made to the opening. Install is booked once the order is ready.
